Career Highlights
Sitting on the throne of South African Hip hop, AKA has come a long way from his “Touch and go” days with Entity. He consistently reinvented himself and his sound while on the come up. He formed a production super group called IV League which produced bangers for the late PRO kid and Khuli Chana. In 2009 he released is critically acclaimed EP called 24/7/366 which elevated him into a respected MC. In 2011 he released Altar Ego, his debut album that blasted him to superstardom and scooping awards. LeVels followed in 2014 and that made the rest of Africa and the world recognize what the Mega is all about. In 2017 he presented his fans with a collaborative album with Anatii called “Be careful what you wish for” that was well received by the industry and his fans. His latest album “Touch My Blood” is a true masterpiece and is currently topping charts and is certified gold. Apart from the music, AKA is brand ambassador for Cruz Vodka and Reebok. He has proved that he is a style icon over the years with swag that is unmatched. That’s MEGA!

Charity:
He has the AKA foundation that Inspires breakthroughs in the way the world treats children and to achieve immediate and lasting change in their lives. Educating the youth on the importance of culture and patriotism. Creating shift platforms that will be used for development and leadership skills. Build centers for youth mentorship, skills development and guidance. To inspire disadvantaged youth to take charge and play a role in the economy. They work hand in hand with Rockstart that is a scholarship program that sends creative students to collage to nurture their creative skills so they can impact the world in a positive way. He also donates old sneakers to the less fortunate.
